The Tres Cruces bus terminal in Montevideo expects 120,000 people to pass through between Wednesday and Thursday for Easter week. Between 2,500 and 3,000 buses are expected to depart and arrive. Favorite domestic destinations include the hot springs area in eastern Uruguay. Buenos Aires is the preferred destination for those traveling abroad, but southern Brazil and northern Argentina are popular as well.
