Racing Continues at the Libertadores Cup

Racing Club from Montevideo joined the group stage of the Libertadores Cup after defeating 2-0 Colombian team Junior from Barranquilla, with which they tied 2-2 as visitors. 

With a good crowd in the Central Park, Racing determined to make a difference and clearly dominated the game during the first 15 minuts. Henceforth, Racing ceded the field to the visit, looking to do what they do best: strike back. However, apart from some sporadic attempts, Junior took over the game. Poorly defined and saved a ball on the line by a defender from Racing left things 1-0 in their way to the dressing room.

For the second time the picture was unchanged. Racing went out more determined at the beginning but after 5 minutes Junior returned to take possession of the ball and the match was played mostly in Racing camp. Anyway, domains and visitors attempts were not enough. In the 87th minute the lawsuit was decided. Proven backlash by Sayago team and precise trigger appeared, Quinones scored his second goal in the Copa Libertadores and the match ended.
