Rescue Metzen & Sena suspended – Factory Closes

he factory Metzen y Sena of Empalme Olmos, Canelones, closed for lack of resources. The factory had been supported with loans from the National Development Corporation. Due to the distortion of data and the failure and mismanagement of the owners, the government decided to suspend the salvage of Metzen & Sena.

"Extremely serious failure by the owners of the plant and this breach, or that difficulty, almost insurmountable, means a billionaire liability by the owners. It involves quite outrageously overvalued the value of their properties. In addition, they placed there, to get those resources, guarantees on bank accounts without funds. Specifically, false information regarding the chances of returning the resources that the National Development Corporation was giving this source of labor to save it"said Sunca Ivan Hafliger leader.

Therefore, the workers took control of the plant waiting to find other ways to save the factory which is the main, if not the only, source of work for Empalme Olmos.
