No houses for rent in José Ignacio

Wednesday, 18 November 2009 00:00

The most exclusive resort of Uruguay will have a different summer this year due to lower rental prices. It seems this season will belong to the owners, since they took their houses out of the market so that prices won’t drop.

Due to the international crisis, Europeans will not come to this country en masse, as in previous years. While in Punta del Este is expected a good season based on Argentine and Brazilian tourists, Jose Ignacio will have few rented properties and the season will be enjoyed mostly by their owners.
