The Frente Amplio offered yesterday at least thirty charges to the opposition to integrate in the next period. Out of the settlement were Primary school, Secondary school and UTU, and about twenty companies that operate under private law. The proposition from government limited the aspirations of the opposition parties, which seek to integrate the private law firms, as well as decentralized agencies of education, but did not hindered the climate of dialogue that is maintained in the working group set up this week and yesterday was the second meeting at the Legislative Palace. The opposition may participate in the bodies and decentralized services, social integration agencies (BPS, codicen and ASSE) public non-governmental persons, regulatory units and joint commissions.
Upon leaving the meeting, delegates from all parties handled similar concepts: there are advances and climate of "flexibility and understanding" to reach agreements with the area a success, unlike what happened five years ago. Frente Amplio Sen. Enrique Rubio said there is "amplitude", but said that the Frente "has the responsibility to realize programs," so that "the universe is bounded". He spoke of "an initial list" of "adout twenty charges that may be some more." In fact, the figure now is around 30 counts. Left out of the election are companies that operate under private law and public companies in the National Corporation for Development (CND).
It includes a long list of companies Ancap (Ducs, Gasur, Southern Cross pipeline, Connect, Alur, Caba, Pamacor, Cementos del Plata, Ancsol, Petrouruguay, Carboclor, Sun Oil's Southern Cone) and others of the CND (Interconnection Southern Railway Corporation and Corporacion Vial del Uruguay) of UTE and ANTEL (Access, ITC and HG). Rubio said there is no sense to include such companies as "not imply cost to business" and generally consist of career officials more representative of the directories.
For "not affect driving ability," the agreement also excludes the advice of Primary, Secondary and UTU: are boards of three members and a place will be taken by the unions. Yesterday, the opposition insisted on being present in those bodies. Colorado Senator Jose Amorin said the opposition must be there to "monitor and collaborate." Frenteamplista Delegates pledged to explore ways that the opposition "receives reliable information of what happens there," without creating new positions. The Front said to be a member of the opposition in the directory of the codex, which has five members, of which two are teachers. There the officers were outnumbered and so they seek agreements to ensure "good governance," said Rubio.
At the third meeting of the working group, which will be on Wednesday, admission to trading by the relevant controller (Electoral Court and Court of Auditors) and the ruling will respond to questions raised yesterday by the delegates of the opposition. Then enter the criteria for the selection of principals. Rubio indicated that it will manage the electoral weight, but also the suitability for the job. Also, will affect the interests of each party.
