On relations with Argentina and the binational dispute over the installation of Botnia in Fray Bentos, said: "Uruguay took the right path for the defense of sovereignty". He expressed confidence that an agreement will be achieved and recalled that it was important to await the opinion of the ICJ in The Hague.
