The negotiation with the opposition on the formation of body charges and organizations of the Comptroller of the future government will be up to vice president, Danilo Astori. This was stated by chairman of the Frente Amplio, Jorge Brovetto upon leaving the meeting Mujica and Astori held this morning with the political command of the leftist coalition.
At the meeting it was decided that these negotiations will be in the area of the Senate and without any pre-condition. Brovetto said that they did not have a name yet and warned that the treatment of the subject will begin after February 15, once parliament is installed.
The chairman of the Broad Front also announced that another issue that was on the table was the relationship that will keep the political force with the next government. In this sense, it is the wish of Mujica that it is "more fluid, efficient and with more formal mechanisms" than in Vázquez's government.
The meeting also presented a report on how the four interparty committees are working, such as Education, Energy, Environment and Security. Brovetto noted that "in general they working very well."
