According to the Public Health Ministry, 99% of current flu cases in Uruguay correspond to the H1N1 virus. "It's something that is seen in the entire region: we are not finding the seasonal flu," said general health director Jorge Basso.
While monitoring of the new virus "is more intensive,” there is no new data on the incidence of the seasonal flu.
