British Film Wins First Place at Llamale H Festival

The 3rd annual "Llamale H" International Film Festival on Sexual and Gender Diversity recently ended. The event was declared to be of cultural interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

105 films were shown from 21 countries. The British film "Unmade Beds" by Argentine Alexis dos Santos was honored Sunday as best film. The judges called the film very smart and capable of describing the essence of human relations.

Judges included Spanish filmmaker Anna Boluda, Brazilian Beth Sá and American programmer Kyle Stephan. Uruguayan filmmaker Álvaro Buela and actress Roxana Blanco also participated as judges.
