The banking sector comprises 157 companies and employs 13,356 registered workers. Domestic service includes 47,626 firms almost all micro, employing 53,277 workers.
The civil sector is in the middle of these extremes. In this sector, the average pay is $19,895, industry and trade, where workers earn $10,841 on average, wages of construction is $7,251 and the rural sector, where he earns $7,081 on average.
The construction, where there are 4377 registered companies which employ 50,250 workers, is the only sector where no matter what size the company: the average pay is always located below the $ 10,810 earned by workers in general.
In the rural sector there are 55,403 operating companies and 174,310 people.
In industry and trade, employs 63% of those registered. Those who work in medium and large firms earn more than average, still $ 12,513 and $ 15,219 the average wage. The minimum in this sector are about $ 5,000 on average.
Microenterprises are the 83, 9% of registry of the BPS, small businesses barely cover 13.23% of the total, medium-sized companies are barely 2.44% of the total but 17% of employed workers and big business are 0.43% of total but employs 450,749 workers.
