Uruguay launched a VAT refund program for non-resident tourists. 86% of VAT on goods manufactured in Uruguay will be returned to tourists.

Premier Tax Free, the only company authorized to refund VAT, has already set up at ports and airports in Uruguay to ensure repayment of VAT to tourists.
