Three Prostitution Rings Reported

Friday, 31 July 2009 00:00

The National Institute of Child and Adolescents of Uruguay (INAU) reported to the Justice the existence of three child prostitution rings operating in the country.

The most relevant case was in Paysandú, where 20 teenage children were working as prostitutes; this has already led to the prosecution of two men.

The investigation continues in that department and is now focused on customers and other pimps.
