The Future Economy and Finance Minister, Fernando Lorenzo, said conditions are ripe for investment in Uruguay to continue to grow and stressed that the meeting with 1500 businessmen was a "huge contribution to fuel a climate." Lawrence said that "in recent months and this week also, countless contacts and projects occurred" that the incoming government will examine with a view to materialize them, aiming to generate more wealth and more jobs for the country.
The head said they are "countless investments in all areas of the economy," but said "those who will be more important" for the government are those that aim to improve the "infrastructure of the country." In that same case referred José Mujica from the firms in Punta del Este, as he reiterated the idea that the country needs to improve the operation of the railroad and for that bet to repair the state railways.
